New: Independents and Republicans for Dean blogs
Because of scheduling conflicts, I and several of our local politicos can't attend the pre-assigned Meetup meeting nights (we've started an independent Dean group), but I've heard from several Meetup participants that they are seeing more and more Independents, Greens and moderate Republicans attend their gatherings. Here are two new blog sites that I thought might be of interest.

2. I think its all good
the more non-traditional groups we bring into the primaries, for whatever Democratic candidate, the more of them will (hopefully) vote Democrat in the primaries.

As a Dean supporter, I was just listing the two blogs I thought might be of interest to other Dean supporters.

3. We Need To Keep Those Independents On Our Side
Whoever gets the bid is going to need those votes desperately. We must make sure that they stay on the Dem side regardless of the candidate. So we should try not to alienate too many people from the other candidates - the enemy is Bush, not each other.

I certainly won't make the case that Kerry is the best because he is better than Dean (or whoever). I would rather convince people of Kerry based on his own merits.
