1. Actually...

...all of them have said that they'd address it "after getting the nomination"...well, at least any that have mentioned it (Dean, Kucinich, Kerry, Clark - if my list is incomplete or incorrect, i apologize, not intentional)...i think it's because they've not the weight to do anything prior to nomination...although one might be tempted to say those in congress could do something now...

2. Legal standing

It may be that the lawyers figure complaints by someone not directly affected might be easily dismissed. As a national candidate, the Democratic nominee has a de facto stake in insuring the voting mechanisms are correct.
