7. Clear Channel

Clear Channel has been carrying Shultz for many years on his very small market of the Dakotas/Minnesota on about six radio stations, chiefly KFGO, so it's not like they don't know the guy. He is really more of a clear channel guy, if that makes any sense. Clear channel would not sindicate a liberal talker nationally, and that is the only reason Jones Radio got him. Now that he is attracting a national audience, of course Clear Channel comes running in. Not really surprising as media these days is driven by profit motives rather than any sense of public good.
