"America's new anchorman" - WTF?

"Doing the work that the Mainstream Media USED to do." - What does he mean there? The mainstream media has not stopped coddling W and bashing Dems . . .

Did the mainstream media abuse prescription drugs constantly, having enough pills to be considered a dealer, and have multiple divorces?

"America's new anchorman" - As in the people who listen to Rush (and the other talk radio knockoffs) get their news from him.

"Doing the work that the Mainstream Media USED to do." This means he has become a trusted source of the news, whereas the MSM is now considered "liberal media", if you heard that CSPAN caller on Sunday.

The thing that ices me is that, if ever pinned with the responsiblity of being a source of news, that he should be "balanced" in any way that he suggests MSM should be, Rush will be the first one to point out that his is NOT a "news" show, rather, news-BASED topic driven entertainment and commentary. Under no circumstances does he want any RESPONSIBLITY that goes with being a "news" show.

Yet, in typical fashion, they're all too eager to make that implication, and the idiots gobble it up rather than listen to the other stations playing "best of the 80's".

This technique has been used for years to try to shift the "middle" to the FAR right, and it's been working...
