Rush Limbaugh is a hypocrite.

The second you stop advertising on his show is the second you may pick me up as a customer.

Advertising with a man who lies, distorts facts, guilts his audenice, and basically abuses persuasive speech is a reason why people like me don't buy your products.

After years of telling people that ALL drug addicts should be behind bars, that they are one of the main reasons in the demoralizing of America, Rush wants us to send letters of support? No way. Any advertiser that supports not only a drug user, but they hipocracy surrounding it, I will definatly not be purchasing anything from.

Rush belongs in jail, not on the air, and definatly not on the air supported by hard working American's purchasing products from companies that support drug abuse, and thier abusers.

10. Sent message...did you see comment about "grace and love" by brother?

On the front page of his site, there is a blurb by his brother thanking everyone for the "grace and love" that is being shown to Rush "from every direction."
GAG me...how much grace and love has he shown to anyone else??

Here's my message:
Dear Sponsors: While I have sympathy for anyone facing addiction, Mr. Limbaugh does not extend to others the "love and grace" for which his brother expresses thanks...
Mr. Limbaugh is grossly hypocritical in his stance on this issue; according to his own words about others who struggle with addiction, he should be "sent up the river."
It is shameful that anyone should support his politics of hatred and divisiveness.
I will be boycotting all of his sponsors.

Which means we got nothing. Do you notice how all the guest host make the same logically flawed partial arguements that Rush made. Seems to me that the writers can plug anyone into that slot with as much success. Just follow the same formula.

Anyway, here's my comment for what it's worth:

"You must be kidding. Rush is a total joke! He has never shown any mercy to his fellow junkies and now that he's exposed, we're supposed to rally around him. Surely, the Republican party can find a better spokesperson that Rush! Maybe David Duke would step in."

I hope the ones we sent here aren't filtered. I sure hope there are other petitions when he goes back on the air. I posted the other day that if the right wing can threaten boycotts of CBS over the Reagan movie, then we liberals might boycott sponsors wo sponsor degenerate influences like RL. I plan on doing that as soon as he gets back to work.

Rush has proven what an undeniable hypocrite he is by not practicing what he preaches and I have absouluteley no respect for this man or anything he stands for.

My wife and I have been avid users of Thera-Gesic pain rub since both of us are actual WORKING PEOPLE and often develop aches and pains from our labor. However,we will not buy any more Thera-Gesic as long as this arrogant,worker hating troll keeps advertising this product.

In addition,I am going to listen to the show (with my barf bag nearby)for the specific purpose of making a list of companies who sponsor Rush to post everywhere I can so that all who wish to do so may boycott those products and services.


Rush is obviously on the way down the tubes. don't let him take your companies with him.

21. I don't mean to be the fly in your oxycontin injection, but...

that 'submit' form more than likely goes to some Rush.com flunkie who filters through them. Everyone should really mail (or call) the advertisers directly.

Sorry to break it to you, but having a submit form going directly where it says it does is a huge web-design no-no.

EDIT: That is, when you submit to a third party. Boycott directly and make yourselves known!
