How disappointed and depressed is the MSM because there is no 2008 "Dean Scream"?
I mean, the closest we can get to that is Romney saying that taking the silver means he'll take the gold in the main event ...

3. If they nail a Repug with something, it'll be
Hucklenuts. The Ruling Establishment doesn't want him, they're scared of him. "In their guts they know he's nuts." My bet is they'll put a contract out on him--not the fatal kind, but the Dean Scream kind, if it looks like he's going anywhere. He could fall totally on his face in NH. If he doesn't self-destruct before then, watch for the dirt to land on the Huckster in South Carolina--the same place they zapped McCain in 2000.

4. The Frustration Has Been Evident and Rising All Fall
and they couldn't be bothered before that. You'd think that reporting on important civic events was an imposition.

5. Actually this year's game seem to be pretending EDWARDS DOES NOT EXIST
This was the case of all the coverage I saw last night.

The most BIZARRE was when a commentator on MSNBC pointed out that without the independents, Obama only beat Hillary by 1 point.

By the same math, that would mean that without the independents OBAMA and EDWARDS would have TIED FOR FIRST. Did they mention that? NO.

6. Creds to Maddow, though,
for objecting to Chris Matthews' assertion that two thirds voted against Hillary. Maddow pointed out that the same could be said for each of the three top vote-getters. Maddow also doesn't let Buchannan get away with stuff. MSNBC would do well to jetison both Matthews and Buchannan, and bring Maddow on board -- she's more than sufficient to replace both of them, and her stark honesty would be a welcome improvement over their whiny belligerence.

In other news...
