1. Waaa?
This seems a little far fetched. Rich people make a hobby of paying as little in taxes as they can, you would think that if this was really it would have been found out, abused and solved years ago.

In fact I seem to remember as some point the USSC even ruled on a case that found that personal Income tax was constitutional (right when it was first introduced). For them to rule this way they would have had to have been brought the challenged legislation, which very clearly enacted a personal income tax.

You have pretty much proven me and many other people right by posting this!

I have known for over five years now that there is NO LAW requiring any American citizen to file so-called "income taxes", unless they are engaged in some form of revenue-taxable activity... and that clears better than 99.9% of us in and of itself!

I've explained this to people who asked about it or stated an intent to stop paying what they felt were funds that only went to fill the BFEE war chest.

Well, there you have it!

I'm so freaking happy I could dance the Irish jig! But wait, my wife is here asleep. Oh well....

:bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce::bounce:

on edit: And to think, this whole issue could be put completely to rest simply by enacting some form of national sales tax. Hell, it could even be done progressively so that the people who buy the more expensive of a type of item pay a higher percentage. There isn't a damn thing wrong with that, and it doesn't violate your privacy and civil rights (what's left of them, that is) by getting into the strictly PERSONAL business of what you earn.

3. This was a jury decision...
not a court decision. And the article itself gives precious little information about the actual arguments of the case.

Someone being acquitted by a jury does NOT make precedent for the courts.

5. My mother had to go to IRS to get them to stop bugging my father.
He was in a business they loved to get into. Lots of case around, and he was very ill and they would come to his home and demand to see him, and it made him even sicker. He paid very high taxes, but I have seen then after artist in Alaska. They had twice as many men in Alaska as in any state, lots of working class people making to much money. Wouldn't that be a funny thing if we all did not have to pay. How the hell would Bush have his wars? I am going to copy that and read it.

6. Here's the only other link I could find
And from another online journal. http://www.gomemphis.com/mca/local_news/article/0,1426,MCA_437_2169609,00.html

Has anyone even heard a whisper of this from a mainstream source?
