Dollar damage surfacing in corporate Europe
PARIS: As the dollar’s decline resumes, the damage caused by exchange rate fluctuations is beginning to show in earnings announcements by leading European companies such as German’s Volkswagen and French luxury goods group LVMH.

“Over the last two years we’ve had to wipe 500 million euros off our operating profit due to the decline in the dollar alone,” LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault said when presenting group financial results for 2004 on Wednesday.

1. Yep! The U. S. economic deficit has effected the trade deficit and now
the domino effect has reached Europe. Bush will not only hurt us, but Europe, Canada, and Mexico too which will bring in more illegals looking for a better future just to find it isn't here anymore but the influx will put more pressure on the job market and you'll see a rock rolling downhill if someone doesn't stop it. Who? I don't know. I guess we might if we can vote in Democrats who will bring the deficit down at home and broker better trade deals with other countrys...end the war to drop military spending of course.
