1. GOOD! I hope things get fixed - I just pray WE DEMOCRATS don't grow complacent

Hopefully we'll stay energetic and keep shaping Obama's presidency to accomplish that which we need to accomplish (reverse all the damage done by Republicans).

3. The Market is NOT the Economy
Geithner promises TRILLIONS to bankrupt financial institutions and the market rallies. No surprise.
The relief that nationalization is off the table for now is enough for Wall Street.
Given their record over the last 8 years. What makes you think Wall Street knows anything?

4. I didn't say that the market WAS the economy, or that Wall Street knows anything.
I said that good news will piss off the Sky Is Falling crowd.

And apparently, it has.

5. We're not pissed off.

We're shaking our heads puzzlingly at the Brigade Of The Eternal False Paradigm, who seem to think that Well-Crafted Propaganda, and Programs, Schemes, and Bills, that in the end benefit no one but the criminals who got us into this mess to begin with will save the economy and spark a recovery so we can all beat our chests for "The Football Team".

Who think that an Artificially Supported Stock Market, based on nothing but Said Propaganda, Programs, Schemes, and Bills, and absolutely no fundamentals based on real growth is somehow sustainable and has anything to do with Main Street.

Who think that Monetization and the devaluing of the dollar is a good thing.

There really is no need to keep attacking, giggling, snickering, mocking, and insulting.

We get it. And many of us are done trying to reason, discuss, inform, and otherwise give a shit, because you guys obviously don't.

The people who are buying into this hook, line, and sinker, are so wedded to feeling good and optimistic at any price, so invested in Supporting "The Football Team" no matter what they do, you'll go along with whatever TPTB and the Official Sector tells you, so you can live in the warm comfort of the False Paradigm that makes you feel safe.

It's not that you don't really give a shit, you just don't want to know.

And we understand.

Now, by all means, and I say this to all the "Booster Club", get back to feeling good.

And when it all collapses, because of the reasons I listed above that will not be able to sustain it, and we end up with even worse circumstances than the ones before, I promise, I won't say anything.

I mean, in the end, why disturb your peaceful slumber?

Why, when the Hard Rain falls, the "Thank God It Passed!!!!!!!!!!!11111111111" Crowd won't even notice they are getting wet.

Now by all means, snark away. Get out your list with all the clever names you like to call posters like me and let it rip.

I'm sure you'll have so much fun feeling big and strong and right, you won't even notice you're talking to yourself.

Because I sure won't see any of it.

I'm done with the lot of you.

Reap.

6. Yup

I'll come out from under the bed when I see:

Wages and prices stabilize
Private, short-term debt to income ratios turn sharply lower
Americans start saving
Plywood only being applied to store fronts to prevent storm damage
More signs on lawns that are promoting candidates, than the name of a realtor
Cash and /or debit transactions at the grocery store
Empty chairs in unemployment offices
Food banks with full shelves
Roubini smile
Etc.......

The above are the visual symptoms of the disease, rooting out the entrenched malignancies hasn't even progressed past the triage station.

:nuke:

7. Done with the lot of you? Gee, such drama on an anonymous forum.
That was quite a dramatic rant. First, you put words in my mouth, and then you tell me how I feel and what I think. Then, you pretend to know my views on this entire issue, based on one fucking sentence I wrote.

Of course, you're wrong on all counts, but what else is new?

You probably would do well to be done with the lot of us. You seem to be disconnected from what "the lot of us" -- or at least me--are actually saying.

Off you go, now, with your high dudgeon. Get some help. You plainly need it.
