Happiest States Economically: Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Hawaii and Louisiana,
Nebraska's unemployment rate in February was a 4.2 percent. It also had one foreclosure per 25,187 households.

Oregon brought up the rear.

3. I lived in NE for 6 years and I HATED it. When we left, I said they should make the state motto
Ignorant and proud of it.

Apologies to NE DU'er's who like where they live. It wasn't for me.

8. Hubby works one day a week at a county mental health clinic in Siler City.
I have lived in White Plains, NY; Chatham, NJ; Rancho Santa Fe, Westwood, Santa Monica, Studio City, Woodland Hills all in CA; St. Joseph, MO; Lincoln, NE and now Chapel Hill, NC. The middle part of the country definitely wasn't for me and I was never a California girl. I like the change of seasons and the east coast. It's so nice to finally feel at home.
