America has a total debt of $57 trillion, or $186,717 per man, woman and child. This excludes contingent liabilities such as social security, government pensions and Medicare. These would add another $20 trillion. 80% ($46 trillion) of today's debt was created since 1990.

9. My question is why?
Why are you against Ron Paul? And don't give me the crazy... That tells me you have been so drown in State School thought and depended on Government to the point logic is irrelevant.

What is wrong with Ending the War on Drugs, Bringing all the Troops home, Ending the Federal Reserve? Just to name a few.

3. Debt? What about Assets? What is the net worth or net debt of the US?
Everyone talks about the debt. How about a brief balance sheet that shows both Assets and Liabilities? Then we can figure out the Net Worth or Net Debt.....

You know, like they taught us in accounting.

10. The current politicians will do everything they can to
Make the budget as complex and un-understandable as possible to hide all the kickbacks they are giving to thier big donors. They use Enron Style accounting to keep anyone interested in figuring out where the money comes from and goes to in a dazed fog. One day when the people finaly get sick and tired of these crooked politicians they will finaly elect some folks who will attemp to shine the light on the corruption and expose the traitors.

Letting banks bid on their crappy assets useing taxpayers money is nothing short of criminal. WTF are these people thinking other than "lets line our pockets while we can?"

4. His chart = federal, state, local, business, household, gov't trust fund (Social Security),
domestic financial sector.

Bogus number, here's why: If B owes C $5, & C owes D $5, & D owes B $5, is net debt $15 or $0?

Additionally, if I & my husband take out a $400K mortgage on our combined income of $100K, is it proper to tell our 3 kids "their share" is $80K, when their allowance is $20/mo?

US GDP = 13 trillion. "Your share" tax-wise is proportional to your income; "your share" of personal, business, etc. debt = your real-world debt.
