2. sold the Blazer, bought a Prius, recycle, turn stuff off,
bought energy and water efficient appliances when the old ones kicked, use the laundry line now and never did before.
Could do more I know, working on it though!

4. No heat/AC

Either the windows are open or they're closed. :)

I usually only have one light on at a time at night. Natural light is fine during the day.

I don't really have appliances. The fridge, the computer, and the phone charger are the only things "plugged in."

I'm a compulsive recycler.

Aside from that I am wasteful of resources. :P

5. I talk a lot about how I'm going to install a big solar PV system some day.
Then I dream about having a windmill in my backyard.

For real. We have compact fluorescents everywhere. I try to insist the kids turn stuff off when they're not using it. We have big trees that keep the house cool in summer, and happily, a south facing window that we open to the light in winter.

We walk when we have a choice about driving or walking.

We have a circulating fireplace and try to build lots of fires from downed trees in winter, although this obviously involves some lung risk for the kids.

We installed a very, very efficient heater, and keep the thermostat set to reasonable levels.

I talk up nuclear energy.

My wife has taken a home job so she doesn't have to commute in a car and burn dangerous fossil fuels. I try to telecommute as often as is possible.

The oldest kid walks to school, the youngest takes the bus rather than have a surburban driving drop off festival.

We turn the TV off quite a bit just to talk as a family. We talk about energy, where it comes from and what it does to the environment.

In winter, we use partially nuclear powered electric space heaters in our bedrooms and keep the rest of the house cool.

We have blown in new insulation.

I went to the vet and had myself fixed when I had two kittens.
