3. That's not too bad.
Not as much as the 200+ miles that's possible with a full size Lithium Ion battery pack, but more than enough for most usage. I'd guess that either it's using a sub-sized LiIon pack or a normal size NiMH.

4. Pricing and specs on the eBox here:

From AC Propulsion, who also provided the drive system technology to Tesla Motors.

The Scion is kinda pricey at 13 - 18k for the original vehicle and an additional 55k for the conversion.

6. but it lets the technology be tested
it lets people see that an electric car is a very viable alternative to a large percent of americas automobile use which to me is good. I can't afford one but I can see maybe in the future the price of these things will come down where I may be able too, that is if the well to do continue to invest their money in the tech which by buying EV's they are doing.
