1. Worth reading, but I'm not optimistic about the "paradigm shift." nt

2. nope
The article's no new info to anyone reading this group and the paradigm shift part is just cute.
It was posted in my (over)population group yesterday.. the group where we get ready for no one to change.

3. Wow, everybody's getting it!
Climate Catastrophe, Peak Oil, Economic Crash, Food Scarcity. They are the Four Horsemen, they are in the front yard and have already torched the house.

This article is another clear-eyed scream of anguish from someone who has woken up to find the house on fire and the doors already blocked by the flames. Like anyone in extremis he isn't giving up, and is praying for a miracle (aka a "paradigm shift") while he looks frantically for a way out. I'll be interested to see what evidence he has found to indicate that this miracle might be in progress. I've found similar evidence, but it only points toward the survival of a few, and doesn't prevent the house from burning down.

4. 'survival of a few'
they'll probably be the lucky first-worlders who were allowed to deny for decades that burning trillions of tons of trash makes any difference :eyes: oh and who cares about oil spills, trash islands and mass-extinction? I'm ashamed of my species.

(I need to vent, scuse me)
