enXco Announces The Dedication Of Its First Solar Project In Fresno, California

Press Release from
Escondido, CA. January 8, 2008

- enXco, an EDF EN Company, announces the dedication of the Sun Harvest Solar Project located on the grounds of the Fresno Adventist Academy in Fresno, California. The completed solar array, consisting of 247 kW of ground mounted solar photovoltaic panels, went fully operational earlier last month.

David Kirkpatrick, enXco’s Director of New Business Development, stated “We are pleased to be able to bring our global expertise and scale in renewable energy systems to provide clean, renewable solar energy to Fresno Adventist Academy at attractive rates for the next 25 years.”

Fresno Adventist Academy’s Principal Dan Kittle adds “The Sun Harvest Solar Project provides an outstanding opportunity for our school to make contributions to the health and well-being of this community. This project not only provides for cleaner air for the benefit of our students and community, but also blazes the trail for renewable energy sources by setting an example for schools throughout California in accordance with the Governor’s energy policy.”

enXco supplied the PV panels from EDF EN's global supply agreement with First Solar. The project represents one of the first installations to utilize First Solar’s new thin film technology. enXco financed the project as its long term owner and operator with the Fresno Adventist Academy buying the energy produced over the next 25 years. 3rd Rock Systems & Technologies, Inc. served as general contractor and PG&E provided financial incentives under the California Solar Initiative.
