50% polled say globalization is occurring too fast
There is considerable unease about the pace of globalisation around the world, according to a new BBC global poll.

Half of all people polled across 34 countries say that the pace of globalisation is too fast, while 35% say globalisation is going too slowly.

But concern about globalisation is strongest among the world's richest countries, where it is closely correlated with a belief that the fruits of economic growth have been unfairly shared.

4. Globalization will be a moot point soon
The entire concept is predicated on the infinite availability of cheap fuel. Without that, it makes no sense to transport a ship full of $0.79 plastic crap several thousand miles to save money on labor.

5. You got that right!!!
Isn't it a hoot that the Grand Scheme to dominate the world might end up bringing manufacturing home to America? No doubt that wasn't part of the plan. What plan? Who am I kidding?
