Delta Air Lines to offer voluntary severances (to 30K employees)
ATLANTA - Delta Air Lines says it will offer voluntary severance payouts to roughly 30,000 employees — more than half its workforce — and cut domestic capacity by an extra 5 percent this year as part of an overhaul of its business plan to deal with soaring fuel prices.

1. And bu$h's "strong" economy takes another one below the belt
And the one thing bu$h will not do is move on the oil companies and their record profits. The one thing that could have the quickest impact on our economy is the fuel prices.

And he thinks those $600 checks is going to make it all better.
