NOAA: The second warmest March on record
A few days ago, Climate Progress brought you “Breaking News: The Great Ice Age of 2008 is finally over — next stop Venus!” That scientific finding was based on the NASA (and Hadley Center) temperature data through the end of March. Now NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) weighs in with its data (here), reaffirming the end of the Great Ice Age of 2008:

Based on preliminary data, the globally averaged combined land and sea surface temperature was the second warmest on record for March and the January-March year-to-date period ranked eleventh warmest.

March 2008 missed the record for the warmest March (2002) by a whopping 0.07°F. March 2008 was the warmest March over land in the record, beating the previous record by nearly 0.3°F. And it was the warmest March over land and sea in the northern hemisphere on record by 0.2°F .

5. lol...isn't that a great answer by the deniers.... I heard it just a few days ago
I guess they think that the weather they have at their home reflects what's happening through-out the world. I try and explain to them what they're talking about is weather....not climate.

2. We have had an exceptionally cold spring here in Kansas City.
But that doesn't mean anything.

3. Shame the NOAA doesn't publish an equal area plot of the anomalies
because that one will always look dominated by the high latitudes, whatever they're doing. In reality, India is about 50% bigger than Greenland, but it looks about half the szie of Greenland on that 'map'.

4. Would that make all the red over the middle of Europe and Asia go away?
That's the area of greatest anomaly, in both extent and excursion. I doubt jiggering with the map would change the interpretation much.

7. It'd also make the anomaly over North Africa look bigger
than in the distorted map used. But mainly, it'd be accurate about what's happening to the earth, rather than to the man-made latitude/longitude coordinates. Accuracy is always good.

9. Not in Massachusetts...we had a very cold winter in New England
Who is Climate Progress? Another NGO that's funded to support the whole charade of carbon taxation for bankers/globalists.

The Center for American Progress Action Fund is headed by John D. Podesta, former chief of staff to President William J. Clinton and a professor at Georgetown University Center of Law.

The Clintons are Globalists.

11. I heard from a friend of a guy who knows someone who drove by the White House
That Bill and Hillary sneak off in the night and melt the Arctic ice pack with hair dryers as we sleep. It's a massive conspiracy by the globalists, I'm series!1!1
