As Oil Prices Soar, Restaurant Grease Thefts Rise
I was itching for some good hamburgler jokes. But they robbed a Burger King instead.

The bandit pulled his truck to the back of a Burger King in Northern California one afternoon last month armed with a hose and a tank. After rummaging around assorted restaurant rubbish, he dunked a tube into a smelly storage bin and, the police said, vacuumed out about 300 gallons of grease.

1. "That's my retirement grease"

One of my favorite episodes. Bart and Homer go around stealing grease from Krusty Burger and other fast food joints. Bart learns that the grease traps at the school have never been cleaned and they devise a plot to steal the grease one night while a dance is underway. Willie catches them in the act and tries to stop them from stealing the grease which he had stashed away to sell for his own benefit. In the process the grease line (which for some reason is in the overhead above the gym where the dance is being held) ruptures and spews grease all over the dancing students.

Actually this show was very prescient since it aired about 10 years ago.

2. Now that EVERYONE wants grease, expect the price of soap to rise.
Grease + lye = soap (in a process called saponification).
