I was late getting up and missed it.

He basically said "yes" to everything.
Each senator wanted to know that the financial interests of their constituents would be protected.
For example, when asked about his statement "coal is my worst nightmare", he said he's going to spend money researching clean coal, but there's no reason to stop using dirty coal, because even if we stopped, China and India would continue burning it.
