miles and miles of windmill...
blades.
I caught this neat photo and the way to a plant nursery here in Austin yesterday. You can see this blades on the train cars stretches into the distance. I lost count after 50 cars. :) It got me a little choked up. Yeah, I'm a sap.

2. On a trip to Colorado in March
we saw miles of wind turbines up and running along the south and southeast edges of Wyoming, bordering Colorado, along I-80. A beautiful sight. I read, while in Colorado, that up to 500 more turbines are planned before the decade is out.

4. I snapped this from an airplane en route to CA, about 15 minutes
out from Orange County. They're everywhere! :crazy:

3. I can see 40 from my house
We have a wind farm here, about 40 miles away. I can see them from here! We also have a place here where they manufacture the wind turbines and I see them heading out every day behind eighteen-wheelers and train cars. The blades must be eighty feet long!
