Bob Hunter dies

WELL-KNOWN WEST COAST ENVIRONMENTALIST AND JOURNALIST BOB HUNTER HAS LOST HIS BATTLE WITH PROSTATE CANCER.

AN ORIGINAL MEMBER OF "GREENPEACE," HUNTER WAS A WORLD-WIDE CAMPAIGNER AGAINST NUCLEAR TESTING AND SALT-WATER POLLUTION.

IN LATER LIFE, HUNTER STEPPED BACK ON SHORE TO BECOME AN ENVIRONMENTAL REPORTER AND CAMPAIGNER IN BOTH PRINT AND TELEVISION.

HE PASSED AWAY THIS MORNING AT THE AGE OF 63.
