Explosions hit 3 gas pipelines in Iran, halt flow
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) -- Iran's semiofficial Mehr News Agency says three explosions have hit gas pipelines near the country's holy city of Qom, in the same area where simultaneous blasts took place two months ago.

The lines carry gas from Iran's gas refineries in the south to the country's northwest.

4. Hasn't that been said before, with lower prices?
At $5/gallon things get very unpleasant for a lot of people.

But we still are going to eat, pay rent, buy consumables, even drive around. We might change our habits some, and do less of certain things but there is no magic number at which the entire economy collapses, but below that we manage to scrape by.

coupled with the massive cuts the GOP is Hell Bent on enacting and current unemployment (official and unofficial) this sucker will drop like a rock

6. Hey, that's our oil!
We might have to hire some private soldiers to secure those lines, if China will take our credit card.

Is this the way to run a business state or what?

7. Errr folks?
The "gas" in the OP is "natural gas" not "gasoline" (a.k.a. "petrol").
