The growth China's implied demand for refined oil products will slow to 8 percent this year, with total consumption of about 265 million tonnes, the National Energy Agency said in a statement on Friday.

It forecast consumption of 130 million tonnes of oil products in the first half of the year, up 9 percent from the same months of 2010.

Power consumption will grow about 11 percent to 2.2 trillion kWh in the first half of the year, with full-year consumption of 4.61-4.69 trillion kWh, a growth rate of 10-12 percent, it said. (Reporting by Jim Bai and Tom Miles; Editing by Ken Wills)
