Official: Arizona 'ignoring' its solar power potential
http://www.tucsoncitizen.com/daily/local/40719.php

PHOENIX - Arizona could become the nation's leading generator of solar power but isn't taking the steps needed to do so, leaving neighboring states to reap the benefits of harnessing the sun's energy, officials told state lawmakers and regulators Thursday.

More is at stake than just clean energy, Morse said. He said solar power would bring jobs, dollars and tax revenue to Arizona.

"You have the best solar resource in the United States." Morse said. "Solar energy could become a clean cash cow for this state."

5. I have always thought that the Native Americans that have reservations
there, could start their own solar energy company and become the energy owners of the future. It would be an ironic twist on an exploited people.
