This was initially reported on a few days ago, but I did not see any photo links; in truth, I may have overlooked them.

3. I hope we can find some follow-up on this. They seem to know(?) it's iron-oxide.

What the hell is that much iron oxide doing in the atmosphere? Where is it coming from? It seems like if you found a bunch of iron oxide in your precip, there would be a pretty short list of possible sources upwind.
