Solar power help.
I'm looking into solar power for our home/farm. Anyone have any experience or recommendations on companies, type, lessons learned?

Thanks

4. for instance, passive-solar is just things like south-facing windows...
although you can get fancier to maximize the heat you get for your home. Special venting designs, etc.

as far as PV, I'm not sure there's a clear "cost/watt" winner out there right now. Some tech is better than others, but there's a silicon shortage at the moment that makes all of it somewhat more expensive than it might be in theory.

I like Evergreen solar, but I must recuse myself because I also own some stock in them.

2. Check out this site

We have a solar panel you just rent.
You pay a $500 deposit and just pay for the electricity you generate.
The $500 deposit is put in T bills and earns you interest.

Hope this helps.
