DST
Daylight saving time is coming up and I am dreading it. It always takes me weeks to adjust, and I don't see how I will be saving energy. No matter EST or DST, I get up to my electric alarm clock, turn on my house lights, blow dry my hair with my electric hair dryer, cook on my electric stove, and watch the morning news programs on TV. When I come home, I turn on my house lights, turn on my TV, and cook my dinner. There is nothing about my routine that changes! So how am I saving energy?

1. You're not using your gas grill in the evening.
to feed your family and friends. Don't forget the bug zappers either.

2. I love DST.
I remember as a kid in the 70s we had it year round for a while. I love the extra daylight in the evening.

4. I guess I should look on the bright side
Since it's still Winter, I'll have extra daylight to see the ice patches as I drive home.
