Bomb threats spur Palomar College evacuation (San Marcos, CA)
September 20, 2007

SAN MARCOS – Palomar College officials partially evacuated the San Marcos campus yesterday morning after receiving anonymous bomb threats by phone.

The San Diego Harbor Police Department and its bomb-sniffing dogs investigated the threats before officials concluded they were a hoax, campus spokesman Mark Oggel said. Classes resumed at 12:30 p.m.

Last week, the campus had to be partially evacuated after a bomb threat was phoned in to the cafeteria. A male voice has been heard on all the calls, and police are investigating, Oggel said.
