Lusaka - Zambian authorities will arrest former president Frederick Chiluba for revealing details of secret tunnels leading from the state house to other parts of the capital Lusaka, the home affairs minister has said.
"As you are aware, former president Chiluba's immunity was lifted so there is still room to include this charge," Home Affairs Minister Ronnie Shikapwasha said in a statement published by the privately owned Post newspaper.
Chiluba in 1995 revealed that underground tunnels built by his predecessor Kenneth Kaunda ran from the state house complex, where the president's office and official residence are located, to various parts of the city.
