At progunprogressive.com: "NRA Alert on MD Carry Law"...
Seems there is a legislator who is trying to remove a clause in Maryland's "may issue" concealed-carry statute which will convert the state into "shall issue" status. To non-gunnies, this would strengthen the right to keep and bear arms in that state.

The legislation was proposed by a Democrat.

Go and see.
