OH: A Holmes County Sheriff's deputy is recovering at Akron General Medical Center today after shooting himself with his own weapon early Sunday.
NJ: A gunman shot a driver stopped at a traffic light and killed a pedestrian early Sunday, and the same man may be responsible for the shooting of a police sergeant, authorities said.

1. Back in my home town people get shot nightly and you hear nothing
on the news stations, though if its a bizarre shooting the news paper writes a paragraph about it in the back of the paper. Mainly its considered black on black crime so why hurt the tourist trade by reporting black on black shootings is the way its seen.

3. Just by reading the headlines it strikes me
that many of those cases the "victim" would had been well served to have taken Jefferson's advice: "to at all times go armed".

6. Thoughts and Prayers to the victims and the families of the lost.
I hope the criminals who perpetrated many of these acts are caught and punished to the full extent of the law.

7. I like how so many of these "Shooting Galleries"
Include cops misbehaving or making dumb mistakes. What would the Gun Guys do to reduce these police mishaps, I wonder? Disarm the cops too? Maybe they're just desperate for material.
