Another interesting video
http://www.myfoxphilly.com/myfox/pages/News/Detail?contentId=6460019&version=2&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=VSTY&pageId=3.2.1

i honestly think nutter is dellusional- he is not going to win the case cause it is clear that he is wrong- he is not going to persuade the most pro-gun legislature in the union that they need to ban guns based on cosmetic looks

also i like how the police officer said a 25 rd clip- last time i checked they only make 30's for AK/SKS....i dont know if they deliberately lie or they are just misinformed

1. He's a nutter alright.
also i like how the police officer said a 25 rd clip- last time i checked they only make 30's for AK/SKS.

He said it was loaded with 25 rounds - maybe it wasn't a fully loaded magazine? :)

Two things I found interesting in the video.

They said that incoming police persons are finding themselves literally outgunned by criminals. This of course means that the police are literally outgunned by the people at large, and I see this as a good thing. A populace that outguns its law enforcement is a populace not easily abused by its law enforcement.

The second thing was that Mr. Nutter said basically there was no reason for people to own these kinds of weapons. Given that the whole point of the second amendment was to provide for the populace being able to replace or counter federal military power, it is quite obvious that these are exactly the sorts of weapons for that task.

3. I do not want to be the bearer of bad news ...

mostly misinformed sometimes they simply lie. It often depends on the political wind.

I have had 5 round, 10 round, 20 round, 30 round, 40 round and 75 round magazines for my several AK rifles in the past. 30 rounders are the traditional standard but not the only option.

The only "clips" I had were for my SKS and they were 10 rounders and 5 rounders to load the 10 round fixed magazine. I never tried one of those extended 30 round magazines on the SKS.

4. Wow, someone who knows the difference between a clip...
and a magazine.

When someone calls a magazine a "clip" I clench my teeth.

For those who don't understand the difference:

Now if we could just get people to understand the difference between a true assault rifle and a semi-auto rifle.
