Deputies: Couple Shoots, Stabs Intruder

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. -- Deputies said a man who attempted to rob a Spartanburg couple ended up shot, stabbed and arrested.
Spartanburg County deputies responded to a call of an attempted robbery at a home on West Croft Circle.
Travis Morrow, who lives in the house, and his girlfriend, Aiyetoro Ross, told deputies two men tried to rob them.
Morrow said as he struggled to disarm one of the men, the gun discharged, and hit the suspect. Ross grabbed a knife from the kitchen and stabbed the suspect. Both of the robbery suspects then ran from the house.

Hell, I was listening to the scanner earlier tonight.. it took over 20 minutes for an officer to respond to a 9-1-1 hangup call.....

8. Police: Geist-area wife accidentally shot husband, then killed herself

Hamilton County authorities think a case of mistaken identity led a woman to shoot and wound her husband early Saturday, only a few weeks after their wedding.

Distraught over her mistake, the woman used the gun to kill herself, investigators said.

Sheriff's deputies were called at 1:30 a.m. to the couple's Geist-area home in the 9600 block of Soaring Eagle Lane.

Charles Vogt III, 44, told deputies he was shot by his wife. He had a gunshot wound to his torso, according to the Sheriff's Department.

despite the fact that her husband is alive? I could understand being distraught over shooting the husband dead, but it's hard for me to understand why she'd be so distraught over it considering the guy is alive and recovering.
