A naked, samurai sword-wielding martial arts expert screaming, "I'm God! I'm immortal" hacked his wife to death yesterday in a blood-soaked Bronx rampage, police said.

When the madman lunged at police, one cop fired 14 shots - bringing down the suspect but also hitting her partner twice. The cop's vest stopped one bullet from hitting his chest, though another slug penetrated his knee.

The wounded cop and suspect were in stable condition last night as relatives mourned 24-year-old Kisha Denton - and wondered what caused her husband almost to decapitate his wife of one year.

3. We had a similar one here in Pittsburgh a few months back

But in this one the female victim lived, lost some fingers and parts of hand though. The kicker was the stupid woman then out of love wouldn't testify against her attacker.

But I think there are nutcases like these in other countries - I've read the stories. We do seem to have more than our share though.

that it is very much different under stress. She probably counted three rounds. It is fairly easy to dump 7 aimed rounds at that range in less than 4 secs without stress.
My question: How did they get in such a position to be facing each other with a threat between them?

The sword-wielding Bronx madman who allegedly hacked his wife to death snapped after she refused to let a woman he met on the Internet move in, sources said yesterday.

Furious that his wife of one year wouldn't let his cyber-sweetie share their bed, Ivor Forbes butchered 24-year-old Kisha Denton, using samurai swords and steak knives, cops said.

"It was the worst thing I've ever seen done to a person in all my years as a cop. She was in horrible, horrible shape," said one source. "The swords and the knives were bent and bloody."

Forbes, 32, nearly split his wife's skull in two with a blow from a samurai sword, then severed her left hand, chopped four fingers off her right hand and began slicing her skin with steak knives, cops said.

Denton was still alive when police arrived at 2199 Holland Ave. and was comforted by a cop who kept telling her, "We're here. Help is here," a high-ranking police official said. She was pronounced dead at Jacobi Medical Center a short time later.
