Police: Western Pa. man waved gun at employee inside city hall office over neighbor's fence

CLAIRTON, Pa. — A western Pennsylvania man is charged with waving a gun inside a city hall office after being told his neighbor's temporary fence didn't require a permit.

Officials say 65-year-old Michael Beckovich had gone to Clairton's City Hall on Wednesday to complain about the fence. After a code enforcement officer said the fence didn't need a permit, police say Beckovich pulled out a gun and waved it at the employee.

WPXI-TV reports Beckovich was later arrested at his home and charged with simple assault and making terroristic threats.

4. Questioning a claim is now freeperville?
Do you think Progressives should merely take claims on faith?

Wow.

7. So one guy is arrested for a criminal act?
You gonna pass a law to make a criminal act a double criminal act?

Repost this when he gets convicted.

8. Simple solution.
He should have had periodic psych exams, weekly home inspections of his firearm and how it is stored, a complete list of who had access to the firearm, a complete registry of each and every firearm he owns or has ever owned, a running itinerary of where and when he would carry the firearm with GPS tracking, four sheriffs deputies to escort him in the event his temper starts to flare (which would require a satellite heart monitor to determine when that happens), and a bullet proof glass containment cube to drop over him when his eyes start to bug out.

Simple.

13. This guy will not be allowed to own guns and that's about right
Some folks should not own guns because of the fact that they are very short-fused.

He's obviously volunteered to be on that list by his actions.

Unfortunately there are a few gun owners like him who, one day, may be a danger to themselves and the community.

Most gun owners are not like this folk.

We are not going to ban gun ownership based on a few cases like this one.
