League City man found dead in street
The victim was found dead in the street in front of his house in the 1900 block of Acacia early Sunday morning. The man’s name has not been released.

When police arrived, they found the victim, a 23-year-old white male, lying in the road dead from multiple gunshot wounds, Hausam said.

“He grew up to be a really decent guy,”

3. Just another one of the 40,000 Americans who die because of guns every year.
THAT'S the point.

Sheesh.

5. Did the guns just leap up of their own accord, and fire themselves?
And then, their evil deed done, did they fly into the hand of some unsuspecting passer-by in order to divert suspicion?

From the story, no one knows - yet - what happened or why....unless you have some information that that police do not?

And the number is approximately 30,000, of which 16,000 (or about 53%) are suicides.

6. Actually, when you read the poster's comment ("because"), the
correct number is zero.

Crime solved, alleged aggrevated robbers/murderers in custody.

Daniel Clark, 23, was found dead from gunshot wounds in the street in front of his house in the 1900 block of Acacia Street about 2:10 a.m. He was a victim of aggravated robbery, according to a League City police report.

Stephen Roman-Garza, 18, was the first to be brought into custody Sunday and was charged with aggravated robbery. He was being held in the League City Jail on an $80,000 bond, League City police Lt. Bruce Whitten said.

On Monday afternoon, two other men were charged. Andrew Robles, 18, and Erick Valdez, 18, also have been charged with aggravated robbery, Sgt. John Jordan said.

They, too, are being held on $80,000 bond each.

8. Good thing Daniel didn't have a gun of his own...
I mean, one of the thugs might have gotten hurt.
