So, now that it's dead, how long before Bushmasters and such drop to more reasonable prices? Additionally, are those 150% or more priced pre-bans going to become pre-post ban rifles now? I'd hate to have been a schmoe who sunk big $$$ into $275 Norinco Kalashnikov clones for over $500.

1. Right now...

Bushmasters will still be the same price they have been, but now you can get them configured in the pre-ban configuration for the same price as the post-ban.

Premiums on prebans collapsed over the last year.

Pre-bans are now all heading for states with bans of their own.

for the sucker who bought my pre-ban folding stock AK for $1200 back in 1994...

3. And right now

I'm looking at spending $167 plus shipping and insurance to get my goddamn AR-15 in the configuration it should have been in in the first place.

That's just to thread the barrel, add a flash suppressor, replace the front sight block so there is a bayonet lug and refinish the barrel that will get scratched up in the process.
