2,000 people protest outside Israeli embassy in London, 6 arrested
Around 2,000 people staged a noisy protest outside the Israeli embassy in London on Sunday in response to Israeli air strikes that left hundreds dead in the Gaza Strip.

Police were forced to call in reinforcements after protesters tore down barriers holding them back and hurled projectiles in the direction of the diplomatic mission.

"Israel is a terrorist state," chanted demonstrators as Palestinian flags were waved. Other protesters held up posters reading "Holocaust in Gaza."

1. More terrorist sympathizers
Those who believe that rockets can fall unabated on Israel, and that the terrorists should not be held accountable.

There is outcry no matter what Israel does: sonic booms, closing the crossing, targetting the rocket launchers (who hide among civilians).

These terrorist sympathizers just think that Israel should endure decades of terrorism, cowed in a corner.

2. Actually they are protesting Israel's terrorism, not sympathizing with it

3. Yeah. Poor little nuclear-armed Israel...
With all their American war machines and tax-payer money.

There they are 'cowed in a corner'. :eyes:

4. If Israel did not have the restraint it has
it could flatten Gaza with a tiny fraction of its firepower.

Israel is cowed in the corner, because no other country would put up with daily terrorism and not be allowed to defend themselves.

5. No other country except Palestine, right?
Their land stolen, their people displaced, checkpoints, settlements, starved for food, electricity and medical care...

Why dont *they* get to defend themselves? Israel is the occupier, not the other way around.
