What was new to me, is what he says at the very end, that someone comes in and tells them that there´s just been an explosion at the Pentagon.

So if he is confusing things, he must have dreamt that up...

3. Why is this such a big deal?

I don't know of anyone who denies they were both "there". The issue is when they they were both there (overlap). Why the "truth movement" has to invent issues that don't exist, is beyond me.
