Whatever Bush had under his jacket, it will be gone next week.
I have no idea what the mystery object is--whether it's a radio receiver, a flak jacket or a gyroscope that keeps him from falling down, but I'm betting that it will be gone next week. People have spotted it (Faux first betrayed him by putting a camera behind him in the 1st debate) and will be watching for it, so it won't be there. Rove isn't going to chance any more speculation on the topic, so he will either go without whatever it is or they will do a massive re-design & shove it up his ass or something. But it won't be visibly there in the next debate. Count on it.

2. I don't think they have a choice.
To let him run free would be total disaster.

3. I don't know
I was shocked it was there this week, I was sure it would be moved after the internet speculation.

Maybe they'll pad it with 15 sweaters cut and taped to his back or something. I think he's too far gone for them to send him out without it, he would be worse than at the first debate, and something catastrophic might happen.

5. I didn't see it last night
in one of those camera shots from behind which, to me, no doubt was to see if he had the bulge again.

6. That pic was from the 1st debate. Did anyone see anything last night?
Ilooked, but I must admit, I didn't really scrutinize each shot. I agree, it would have been a really stupid move on the Pubs part to try the same thing again.

I have no idea what caused that bulge, but I'm still having a real hard time believing it was wired to shrubs ear. How in the hell could he have done that bad WITH a coach?

Why don't they just say "Hey everyone! Bush is afraid of the nice folks at the debate!!"

Give yer head a shake man/girl.

We need to make sure there is a jammer nearby in case the SS doesn't jam as a preventative for cell phone triggered devices.

14. Bush the talking doll

That's basically what he is, someone pulls the string and he talks, if you can call it that, repeating the same phrases again and again, just like a talking doll.

Someone should make one.

Immediately after he was selected, I called puppet manufacturers and suggested it would be a hit to issue a bush puppet.

I knew we were in trouble when they didn't "get it."

21. So what about his moodswings, Jackpine?

Do you have an opinion on what meds he's on? He was so wired and angry last night. One columnist described him as a verbally abusive husband, not a wife beater but a browbeater.
