Yesterday we sent out two national appeals for more Phone Corps members and we nearly doubled our ranks. We set another Phone Corps record by making 30,000 total calls to potential volunteers in Florida in one night. We spoke to 13,000 people, left 12,000 messages with volunteer details, and confirmed 2,300 people for a door-to-door canvass this weekend.
Your Phone Corps work is changing the course of the election, and we need you to keep it up! Please make some calls today:
http://calls.johnkerry.comWith a lot of new people, we'll be able to easily break last night's record if everyone takes just 20 minutes to make a few calls tonight. Of course, we continue to rely on those of you making large numbers of calls each night -- a relatively small percentage of callers are making almost half our calls. So many thanks to you dedicated callers, and we really need you to keep it up as well!
We're also going to be joined tonight by guests at several hundred "Phone Parties" where they will gather to watch the debate and use their cell phones to make Phone Corps calls.
The only limit to the number of undecided and sporadic voters that the Florida coordinated campaign can reach this weekend is the number of volunteers these calls can recruit.
