1. Repuke Polling Firm
Generally better than Strategic Vision, but still majorly partisan

2. Not much better than Strategic Vision
I recall their polls are Bush-leaning, and this confirms it. I would ignore them, along with all CNN polls.

3. Mason Dixon
leans Republican. Add 3-5 points to Kerry for any poll.

4. Mason-Dixon is good on the state level.

These are good numbers, too. Losing WV is no surprise. The trend everywhere else is in the right direction and Bush is under 50%

Mason-Dixon is not like Strategic Vision. SV is completly fake republican polls-on-demand.

5. It is true they do show a tightening
however, there's no way Bush is up in NH.

6. Mason-Dixon is reputable
They are not doing it for partisan reasons. So far this year they have come in a point or three more R than the average of most polls though.

I'm sure it's their methodology.

7. In the past Mason Dixon had a great reputation, particularly in the south
None of the Mason Dixon polls listed were particularly surprising. I would consider them pretty close to the reality of the situation.

8. Mason-Dixon is a very reputable outfit
for state polls, possibly even the best.

These are the numbers you pay attention to, not that Zogby Interactive garbage.

10. They've been more Repub than the average
Lots could have changed this past 4 years, meaning Mason Dixon might not be what they once were.

Personally, I think New Hampshire is tied at worst.

16. Do the electoral math
I'm particularly disappointed with the N.C. numbers. Then again, I think I've seen several other pollsters pegging the race much closer than that (2-5% rather than 12%)

17. That's not how I read it
Many states look good in the Mason-Dixon polls; most are close within MOE and trending Kerry.

and for the most part the recent polls aren't such a surprise.

Ohio is still close, and well within the margin of error.

The only two states polls I don't believe are NV and NH. I won't believe for a second he's up by ten in NV. I also think that Kerry is a ahead in NH. Taking a look, several recent polls have had him up there by 2-5 points.

13. they are reputable, but
they do lean republican. They are the main polling firm down here and I don't trust their polls. I really think you should add 3 points to Kerry for any poll they do.

14. If Mason Dickhead polled NY Or IL it would be B/C 56% K/E 30%
They appear to be serving a purpose.

15. The ARG numbers definitely concern me more
It could be they are slow to reflect the recent Kerry trend, though. And no poll is perfect - for the most part, their NH poll is an outlier. I only concentrate on a few state polls since the changes could get you too consumed.
