umm.... Shrubbie was arrested AT LEAST three times, and pled guilty to a misdemeanor charge of DUI.

I think it must be that picture of him with his hands behind his head. I thought the cops were just making them move. No arrests unless I'm mistaken, which isn't unheard of.

Getting arrested at a Vietnam War protest for non-violent civil disobedience: that's probably a stronger sign of moral rectitude than criminality. Oh wait, as they see it, it was an act of obstruction of the Messianic mission of Richard Nixon....

Now, for Dubya we have the redneck crime (DUI), the spoilt rich kid crime (cocaine bust), and then there's ultimately the direct or indirect solicitation of an abortion in 1970 when it was a crime in Texas. Then the technical AWOL status. Never mind the tax frauds and insider trading and perjury in the funeral home lawsuit he was involved in after that, those people think that's worth commendations and medals.... If he weren't born into that family, they'd call it a crime spree.
