I had heard McAullife was sitting on something big that would be revealed close to November 2nd. There was no specific date attached to it. But it was an ace holding in the deck.

needs to be at the very last minute to be effective. Otherwise they can counter it--get their excuses out. You have to catch them by surprise--and they can't have time to "spin" it.

However, there were people here spreading the rumor that something big was coming down on the 20th (something to help us) I have been waiting all day...some people SUCK.

7. Same bullshit as the old bullshit

We all wait in anticipation for that magic bullet, that climatic Hollywood courtroom moment where deux ex machina plops in and saves our protagonist, but all we get is the same old garbage.

I'm listening to Coast to Coast on XM satellite and they play that irritating USA news or whatever on the hour, and their top story was Theresa HK's comments about Laura Bush (presented entirely out of context as usual) and all I could do was cringe as they continued to spout about how all polls showed "*Idiot King was ahead of Kerry" and I realized that it's time to go to bed.

So irritated.
