Did you Know Nickelodeon has pick the last 5 presidents?

Yes they pick John Kerry and they have been correct in the last 5 presidential race. Out of the mouths of babes.

Kids that young get their political ideas directly from their parents. So Kerry having won 53-47 means that parents are going to vote for Kerry around the same percentage.

Kerry got 57% on Nick. I also think that Nickelodeon was only established in 1985, so maybe they've been right in the last 4 elections... still, that is 100%!

In 88 the kids chose Bush. In 1992 and 1996 the kids chose Clinton, and finally in 2000 they chose Bush.

My 11-yr old nephew was asking his dad about politics when they visited here last summer (my brother has turned conservative; his wife is a "Rabid" republican!). I told him "well, I'm a democrat, and so are grandma and grandpa." He wanted more information, so I continued: "well, democrats care a lot about people - especially the poor and others who are usually ignored by politics and government. That's why we care about education, health care, social security, welfare, and things like that."

He thought for a minute, then asked "what do republicans care about?"
My answer: "money."

Christian turned to his dad, and said, "I'm a Democrat!!!" :)

(and he still is! sent him his "kids for Kerry" button!

There was absolutely no prompting in this; it was an early debate, back when Graham was still in it. My then 6 year-old boy liked Edwards, but that might be because I did. Then again, he's a perceptive little chap...
