Bin Laden & Zarqawi. Bush goes all wobbly, media don't notice

The article says Kerry is delivering a one-two punch, first attacking bush for not going after Bin Laden in Tora Bora, then criticizing bush for holding off an attack on Zarqawi when he had a camp in northern Iraq. (Bush wanted to save Zarqawi for later so he could say "see, there are terrorists in Iraq.")

The Zarqawi story was reported on NBC Nightly News a few weeks ago. Other media have ignored it. CNN has actually provided cover for bush on the matter.

I was hopping mad when the Zarqawi story broke, and still mad because despite Kerry's use of it, the media continue to ignore it.

I think Kerry needs to mention the ignored military plans. He needs to push this issue front and center and say why it proves Bush ignored terrorism to get into Iraq. It should be tied to all the other ways Bush ignored terrorism.

Kerry should make an ad about it all and run it constantly. Then the news couldn't ignore it.

I've sent the Kerry camp E-mails about this. I'll send another and hope they don't give up on what should be the magic bullet to get Bush.
