Arkansas Times endorses Kerry
It's a good endorsement from a state I still think may end up in Kerry's electoral column:

Here are a few tidbits:
"Some elections are more important than others. Many people on both sides of the presidential race have said that this is the most important election of their lifetime. Seldom has the nation been so divided."

"He has recklessly plunged us into what now seems an endless foreign war and spoken falsely about the causes. Those who point out his prevarications and misjudgements are accused of treason and cowardice by his followers. He has permitted war profiteers to flourish, and those who criticize the looting are told by the vice president to go fuck themselves, or worse, to go to France. His contempt for other peoples has alienated teh international community. Nations that once respected us now fear and distrust us instead."

"In every way the Bush administration has been a disaster"

"One candidate is large-hearted and far-sighted, seeing the world as it is and as it could be. The other is deficient in vision and compassion, seeing nothing and imagining nothing outside his small cirlce of ideologues, demagogues and corporate chiselers. The choice is clear.

1. I don't think so

The worst educated states will go Bush. I think Arkansas is near the bottom.

6. Please Please Please
Let it go Kerry.
I want Arkansas and Tennessee to both step up.

I'm a California girl exiled in Tennessee.... if Tennessee straightens up, I'll have the Smokies AND TN going for Kerry to be proud of.

11. I am hoping for an Arkansas surprise
They have two Dem Senators--albeit not the most liberal in the world, and I don't think their Rethug Gov, Huckabee, is as popular as he once was. I think AR has a better chance of going Dem than my state of MO.
