1. Let's start loudly criticizing the untouchable Laura Bush
Does anyone in the press ever say anything critical of her?

10. And Bush can't talk about his own record. In surfing channels I see
and hear bits and pieces and Bush is always saying what Kerry can't do or will do but never says anything about what he. himself can or will do. Cheney is even worse. This is what we have had to put up with for 4 years. I wish the cable "news" shows would have to sit through tapes of their own programs for days on end just to see how they act and react. Ad nauseum!

7. Isn't it funny. I saw someone today who hadn't heard that the govt
is borrowing from the Fed Emps retirement fund to cover natl debt right now story. She said well why isn't that on the news. I told her because they would rather report stories like this than real news. We agreed the media is pathetic. She was shocked about the borrowing, and thinks it should be headline news.

8. Teresa didn't mean to diminish her as a person, and when it was spun
that way, she offered an apology.

If they want to get pissy about it, let 'em.

This is this week's Mary Cheney.

9. Can you imagine if THK had said she thought Pickles was
a 'rhymes with rich?'

Oh, I forgot, someone already used that one...Babs Bush, the one with the beautiful mind.

11. Laura sez no apology necessary.
So this should be a dead issue.

12. Class move by Laura Bush today, but she's still a damn liar.
She stood on the Republican Convention stage and said that George Bush didn't want to invade Iraq.

What bullshit. We know from Paul O'Neill and Richard Clark that it's bullshit.

She's a liar.

14. Preaching to the Choir
In between fiery sermons, will the fundies and other wingnuts ever broach the subject of Laura Bush's driving (and not employment) history? Between the two of them, Theresa was NOT the one responsible for killing someone.

15. Laura's remark was disingenuous
She in effect, dismissed THK apology, rendering it, and THK, null. The apology from THK was sincere--Laura should have said,if she had any sense of honesty, that she accepted the apology and then gone on to state the rest of her spiel.
