Which superdelegates are pledged, and which are not?

"Superdelegates" refers to Democratic Senators, Governors, Representatives, former Presidents, etc.

The Green Papers (link below) lists both "Party Leaders and Elected Officials" and "Unpledged Delegates." I don't understand the difference.

I feel like I should know this, but I don't...

How many of the convention delagates are chosen in the primaries and how many are 'pre-selected' superdelagates?

2. The biggest difference thay can pledge whoever they want...
but if at the last minute they can change and often do. I would not count superdelegates until the actual vote.

3. i don't know but i don't think the pledge is binding anyway
they can dump dean at any point.
